Comparison
Enlogical vs Copilot Studio
This isn't a war. Copilot Studio is the right tool for many things. The question is which.
Microsoft's own documentation distinguishes two paths: Copilot Studio and declarative agents serve individual productivity; for group productivity, with any model and your own hosting, the path is custom engine agents inside Teams. That is exactly where Enlogical works.
Our agents don't compete with the Copilot your colleagues already have in Word or Outlook. They live next to it, in the same Teams, and Entra Agent ID registration is on our roadmap so IT keeps a single control plane — Copilot and digital coworkers together.
Side by side
What changes in practice.
| Enlogical | Copilot Studio / agents in M365 | |
|---|---|---|
| What it's for | Group productivity: named coworkers doing cross-tool work in channels and DMs | Individual productivity (Microsoft's own words): assistants, FAQ, HR, search across M365 |
| Where it runs | On your VM or private cloud; only Teams crosses the tunnel | In the Microsoft cloud |
| Models | Any: Claude, OpenAI / Azure OpenAI EU, open-weight on-prem (roadmap) | Microsoft / OpenAI-via-Microsoft models only |
| Cross-tool work | Yes — agents build and document integrations (Redmine, Primavera, PHC, Moloni…) | Catalog connectors; complex actions need makers |
| Multiple agents cooperating | Yes: the Chief of Staff hires, coordinates and reports | Limited; orchestration still maturing |
| Who manages it | Managers, by chat — no terminal, no studio | Makers in Copilot Studio; IT in Agent 365 |
| Cost | Fixed: operations + monthly seats; no per-token billing | Credits (≈ $200 per 25,000 credits) plus licences; consumption varies |
| IT control | Per-agent RBAC, log of everything; Entra Agent ID registration on the roadmap for a single control plane | Agent 365 / Entra Agent ID native |
| Who owns it | You: repository, containers, charters, data | Microsoft; what you build lives in the tenant |

Honesty
When to choose Copilot Studio.
- You want an FAQ or HR bot answering from SharePoint, with no actions outside M365.
- You have internal makers available to build and maintain the flows.
- You only need Microsoft models and the data can live in the Microsoft cloud.
- You need something this week and the task is individual — an assistant, not a colleague.
And when not
When to choose Enlogical's digital coworkers.
- The work crosses tools outside M365: Redmine, Jira, Primavera, PHC, Moloni, supplier email.
- You want named agents that take part in channels, receive @mentions and cooperate — coordinated by a Chief of Staff.
- Data cannot leave your infrastructure, or you want to choose the model (Claude, OpenAI EU, on-prem).
- You want managers to hire and run the agents by conversation, without depending on makers.
- You need a fixed monthly cost and human approval on every consequential action, with everything logged.
